After retiring as an accountant with the U.S. Government, I was looking for a fun and interesting second career. I have always loved music, as well as being an audiophile. In 2005 I had an opportunity to work with a friend as a dj and sound technician in his mobile dj business. Being a dj was everything I could want. I realized then how much I enjoyed providing entertainment and event planning for weddings, dances, parties and other functions. My wife and I started our own mobile dj service, Alpha Sound, in 2008. 

Since starting Alpha Sound we have developed a simple goal which is to make your event fun and successful. We have done many events here in the Kansas City area and have learned a great deal about what it takes to entertain our audiences and keep the fun going so that every guest has a great time. We also like to give back to our community by offering our services for fundraisers and charities. We believe that it is important to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of the men and women who serve in our armed forces by offering a military discount on all of our services.
